The canonical archive is plain-text files with an append-only, hash-chained event log. You do not have to trust this website: the log proves the promises — numbers never reused, testimonies never altered, withdrawals recorded. The log contains only fingerprints, never words.
Hashing rules are specified in schema/CANONICAL.md
so the verifier (tools/verify.py, standard library
only) can be reimplemented in any language, in any decade.
